Because the most extraordinary relationships aren’t the ones without conflict; they’re the ones where two people keep showing up, speaking love, and choosing each other—again and again.
Effective couples communication is key to Wilma Kruger. Firstly, she has experienced life passionate about communication. Secondly, she understands how it’s essential in all relationships.
She would never call herself remarkable—but anyone who’s met her knows otherwise.
A charming woman with a heart big enough for a crowd and a smile that still wins over her husband of 50+ years, she has lived a life filled with adventure, grace, challenge, and triumph— always with a touch of humor, a sense of elegance, and professionalism.
Wilma was raised in a joyful family of fourteen, twelve siblings plus her loving parents. She learned early on that communication was more than words; it was survival, comedy, connection, and love.
The new writer has completed numerous courses on communication, adding depth and insight to her natural gifts. She studied Engineering and Architecture in Germany and Brazil, designing structures and a meaningful life
She and her husband, whom she still describes as the “young man who swept her off her feet,” have shared decades of deep love: he’s too German to correct her, too Brazilian to resist her laughter, and too American to stop loving her with full-hearted constancy.
Together, they raised three children, traveled extensively and loved nature. Additionally, they lived their faith not through sermons but through service, kindness, and the art of staying engaged in conversation.
Consequentially, with wisdom and sparkle, she has turned to writing about communication, not as a theory, but as a living, breathing force that shapes relationships and brings souls together because she’s lived it. Because it always takes at least two. And because she knows: even after fifty years of marrige, the conversation is just getting good.
This book is a gift from her heart—and her story is one you’ll feel in every word.
